Police at the Bank Building on Cermak and Oak Park, 4/13 at 10:32 AM

There are about 5 police officers at the old bank building (the soon-to-be site of Frank Thomas's Brew House).  Anybody have any idea what happened?  I see one door opened up while they walk around and in the building.

I drove by the bank between 11 to 11:30 AM on Sunday (I went to Popeyes to buy shrimp) and I did not see any activity at all.  No police were around at that point.

Yeah, I saw them take off not too long after I posted.  Must have been nothing.

I saw all of them out there.  A lot of police -wonder what it was?

I'm just guessing, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone was in there stealing copper or other building materials. When we were doing a renovation in the West Loop we got hit by copper thieves, stole everything they could easily get to, even pipe that was already installed. Wound up having to hire an off duty cop to stay overnight in the building.
