It's nice to see some of the tulips I dropped last fall starting to peak out.
I even had another 20 hanging in the garage I never got to, starting to shoot like
onions so I dropped them in too now.

The Rose bushes I decided not to cut back last year, and 2 out of 3 have aggressive
growth nubs all the way to the ends (6') so hopefully this can be the year they make giant strides.

My beloved Climbing Hydrangeas are entering their 2nd year and already have new growth on them
in the form of nubs so hopefully they'll take off like mad

VA Creeper has fresh nubs, Boston Ivy not yet

Aren't Mums supposed to come back?

The decapitated Magnolia branches have nice new lively buds growing...i wonder when they'll realize they're dead?

My sage is the only herb that looks like it's alive

And Finally. . . . . . .

The weeds are looking absolutely STUNNINGLY healthy in the garden!!

I did not cut my roses back either, first time I did this. I wonder if I should cut them back to the base or leave them alone????

I think if there's zero nubs, shoots or life cut that part back so the plant can save it's resources for where it counts.
I'm hoping to create huge bushes that climb and figure out the right nutrient bombs to give it what it needs to impress!
As long as there's something going on and it's not black I'm gonna try to save it...
