trying to set the right paging file amount and was hoping i could get some help.

I am running 2 gig of RAM and have 2 internal SATA drives (C: & F:) and 1 external drive (H:)

Ive' been readung online about striping both internals for Paging so they share the function and help the system run better.

any suggestions?
thanks.

What are you doing with the machine?

Unless you have a lot of disk access, you probably won't see much difference with striping.

What OS?

I'd seriously consider buying a few gigs more of ram and save yourself a headache.

For instance, from www.crucial.com, I can get an upgrade to take me to 4GB on my iMac.

No need to stripe.

Just put the pagefile on the HDD that your operating system is "not" on.
