Words of wisdom uttered by "yo Adrian" from her hospital bed
in the Rocky flick.

I was going to PM a select few with this blathering, but I felt it best
to take it directly to the floor of our humble board.

We have a monumental, and probable unwinable situation before us,
electing Ted and Mark to 201.

I feel bad odds, even if they seem unsurmountable given the political
slates of the evil empires out there that jockey for board seats can
be overcome.

We must reach out. I know a large organization from Lyons
that would wholly embrace our candidates, with the ability to
deliver several hundred votes. Similar non-represented
parental groups in Stickney and Forest View would deliver several
hundred more votes, the people of these communities feel they are the
third wheel in the POLITICALLY controlled school board of 201. They are
fed up but have no voice.

"David v Goliath" can even capture  a big part of Cicero.

The people of Cicero are even fed up, Spanish newspapers and radio
would be more than pleased to interview our candidates and embrace
your educational plans for their children. They tire of political opportunists
more quickly than we do because the "Chicago way" leaves them non-inclusive
to changes that will benefit their children.

It can be accomplished. Let's acheive our goal

Mark and Ted should go to all political groups seeking their help.  They should also try to work with the teachers union and all community groups.
