Hey All!

What is the going rate on piano lessons?  45 minutes, once per week.

Thank you!

Ana

Ana, We pay $14/week to the piano teacher, who teaches out of her home in South Berwyn.  If you want more info, PM me.

Usually for the area:

$20 for 1/2 hr.
$40 for 1 hr.

I pay $24 for 1/2 hour lesson.  I know my neighbor pays about the same to a different teacher.

Wow, Shelley remember when we paid Sister Aronica, $3.00 a 1/2 hour??
After 2 years we discovered she thought you to play mostlly by ear!! LOL.

We're quite blessed, I guess.  I pay $14/half hr., but we go to the teacher's home.  Is that the reason the rate is different?  Are the higher rates for the piano teachers that come to your home?

Juliet,

I hope your piano teacher doesn't read the forum.  :)
