I am turning the BIG 50 this year and am planning a bash with a friend that is also turning 50. She before me of course. Anyway we are looking for DJs that play a wide variety of music. Anything from Kiss to Luis Fonsi, from Donna Summers to Bay City Rollers, from Patsy Cline to Big and Rich. A DJ that plays latin and American dance is a big plus. Anyway since I don't get out much, who on here has danced to Proud Mary lately?? And remembers the DJs name?

Truman - you can try these guys, just don't know if they might be too expensive:

They have everything under the sun and will even stick to a playlist that you give them.  Let me know if you need any further info.

These guys are pretty cool and resonable. Plus you can go on their website and create a song list that you would like played.

So I don't know of any caterers, but I do know one kickass pastry chef in case you are looking for some sweets.  Seriously, she is awesome.  The company is called Pastries Not Potatoes and the owner/baker is Melissa.  The last few items she's baked for me are: cheesecake filled chocolate cupcakes, chocolate peppermint cheesecakes and flourless chocolate cakes.  Fantastic.

Here is her info:

She'll make you an awesome cake Truman!
