Very sad news. RIP Moose.

Neat guy. Met him couple times when he owned his tavern at 35th and Laramie. Regular guy, well except for the Yankees world series ring.

On that note. My Dad hung at Call Me Moose and then still at Pony's Place (to who Moose sold it). My Dad's pal told him that after the landlord didn't renew the bar's lease, he (landlord) was out in the back of the joint just pitching stuff into a dumpster. All the stuff on the walls, etc. Apparently there were a couple of guys out there trying to buy/salvage what they could. There;s no way Moose would have left anything there and no way this landlord goof would even be tossing like priceless pictures out.

Anyone amplify on this?
