I don't get it. A Friend of mine was told by Berwyn he had to get rid of having a 3-flat and convert it to two when it had a  front and backdoor for the basement but they will allow homes to go to market that are clearly single family as multi-unit

Consistency doesn't seem to be a very high priority for many of the city hall employees.

I was told last week I couldn't pay a water bill with a check because "it was too much".  I asked just what that limit was, and was met with a bunch of mumbling.  I came back the next day, paid with a credit card.  I assume that employees decision cost the city 3% of the bill in Visa fees.

And with a check they can more easily see that you have the money. That residents who can PAY for their services are those living there and using them
