Concordia Little Lambs Preschool

Concordia Little Lambs Preschool provides a Christian atmosphere for the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of children ages 3-5.  Preschoolers are encouraged to learn by discovery in "hands-on" activities in order to gain confidence and a positive self image.


Who May Enroll?
Children who are potty-trained and ages 3 or 4 by September 1, 2005.  Concordia Little Lambs Preschool admist students of any race, color, or national or ethinic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

When Do Classes Meet?
Classes meet from September through May.  Four year olds meet on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 - 11:45 and 12:45 to 3:30 pm.
Three year olds meet on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 - 11:30 a.m.

Where Do Classes Meet?
Classes meet in the preschool classroom in Concordia Lutheran Church on 32nd and Home Avenue in Berwyn, 1 block north of the Metra tracks on Home.

Class Limit
M-T-W  20 Children with a teacher with a Master's degree in Early Childhood development and a teacher's assistant
Th-Fri  17 Children with a teacher with a Master's degree in Early Childhood development and two teacher's assistants

Cost
There is a nonrefundable registration fee of $50.  Tuition is paid in 9 monthly installments of $140/month for the three day program; $115/month for the two day program. Financial assistance is available.

Preschool begins the Tuesday after Labor Day.  The M-T-W am class (see above for class times and prerequisites) is currently full, but we do have openings in the M-T-W pm class.  The Th-Fri class for potty trained 3 year olds has openings as well.

For those who desire after care, there has been some communication between our school and Kaliedoscope learning center (which is on the corner of Windsor and Home), just let our director know.  I am in all morning classes and would be happy to answer any of your questions.  Or call our Director, Kay Matthews, who is also the teacher with her Masters in Early Childhood Education at 795-7563.
