Title: La Piazza
Post by: Boris on September 22, 2005, 10:34:11 AM
In Forest Park (Madison/Circle). FANTASTIC. Had a smoked duck appetizer prepared with white truffle oil that was pure genius, the whole red snapper was perfect. Everything was about as good a restaurant experience as you could hope for...a little pricey (dinner for 2 = $120 with a bottle of wine), but not outrageous and well worth it.

One of our favorites.
I guess they have expanded recently, because before that you really needed a reservation to get a table on a weekend.
The food is truly fantastic.

I've had 2 great meals there.  A very, very good local restaurant.

Cheers,

This is hands down our favorite local area Italian restaurant.  Their menu isn't the most affordable, but everything is homemade and the service is great.   A great place for husband/wife, significant other "date night", but it would be very pricey to take the entire family.

And besides...why waste such good food on kids?
