Good news from District 100

-I'll start these threads, but hope that others will contribute what they know...

, ext. 1.  Speech and Drama Team (37 5th-8th graders) won a 1st place trophy at the 2006 West 40 Speech and Drama Festival AND got a perfect score in 7 out of the 10 events!

2.  Lots of details in the "Good News Report" for March regarding what different classes are doing.  There are so many interesting things going on academically.  I'm looking for a link on the 100 website to this report,           

3.  District Musical "When In Rome" May 12th and 13th. 

4.  April 3-7th is preschool screening for all preschool age kids.  Call 795-2300, ext. 4037 to make an appointment. 

5.  The Jazz Band of Freedom Middle School will play at Coffeehouse on Friday April 7th.  Spring Band concert is May 2nd and May 30th .

Anyone else know anything??
