American High Schools

A good article in newsweek/MSNBC.com regarding the current structure and direction of American high schools.  It discusses the "small school" approach that they are currently working to implement at Morton.

Another interesting note - in their ranking of high schools across the country (based on percentage of students taking AP or IB classes) only 2 Illinois schools were in the top 100 and Riverside-Brookfield was one of them (Lincoln Park being the other).
