Beginning January 3, Sundays at 4 p.m. Peacemaking 101. Conflict, chaos, drama! Most of us have too much of it in our lives. Not knowing how to rid ourselves of it, we run from it or take up arms for battle. You're invited to learn how to handle conflict with ease and grace using spiritual practices, common sense, and nonviolent communication tools. Learn to be a Peacemaker in all situations. Love donation plus cost of A Peacemaker's Journal ($8.95 - Available in Peace Center Bookstore)

On Friday, January 15, 7 p.m., join us for Movie night when we view "Beyond Our Differences". With all of the problems facing the world today, people are longing for meaning. Many find answers in religion or spirituality, but as a result faith and religion are often hijacked by those seeking to enhance their own power. With this dichotomy in mind, "Beyond Our Differences" calls upon key religious leaders, politicians, and luminaries in their fields and it asks what it is that inspires them to affect positive change. Suggested donation $5.

Tuesday, January 19 at 7 p.m., Mark Anderson facilitates a Reiki Share. The primary purpose of having a "share" is for practitioners to participate in giving and receiving Reiki within an atmosphere of friendship and love. Participating in a share is also a beneficial way of honoring one another as healers. The meeting is open to all healers. Suggested donation $5.

On Wednesday, January 20th at 7 p.m. Third Ward Alderman Marge Paul will kick off our Embrace Berwyn season with the first of ongoing Chats with Marge Paul.  Come on in, set a spell, have a cup of coffee and share your viewpoints with Alderman Paul. Get your "Embrace Berwyn" T-shirt and/or coffee mug before or after!

Thursday, January 28th, join Cherise Greski, America's Inner Guidance Coach, for in depth book study of Ask and It is Given, by Jerry and Esther Hicks. Get anchored in the basic techniques of working with the Law of Attraction. Fee involved. 7 p.m.
