I have received an e-mail regarding Tennis Permits at Proksa Park.  A couple of years ago, the Board asked that my office review the amount of revenue realized from the sale of tennis permits after backing out issuance costs and more importantly, enforcement costs related to the permit use.

The results showed that the permits were not cost effective and the Board acted to suspend the permits at that time.  Since then the number of people using the tennis courts has risen considerably.  It was interesting how many people called to ask if the courts were being removed permanently last week and the desire to see the courts remain.

Tennis players are asked to follow the posted rules and act appropriately when using the courts.

Have a great day and I hope to see you out there when the court renovations are completed.  Look for a Tennis Tournament to be held later this year.

Respectfully,
