Looks like Scott W. learned enough about tiff in Berwyn to want the process changed in Chicago.

  Well, if Fran Reitz and the Morton College board have their way, there won't be any more TIF districts in Berwyn. Cermak Road and Depot District TIF extensions have not been approved by either the Morton College board or by the District 201 Morton High School board.

  There was a discussion about TIF districts at a District 201 board meeting about a year ago and then silence ever since then.  No action has been taken (unless something was done at a board meeting where I wasn't present)

The Board that is made up of primarily Cicero residents?  Are they doing away with TIF Districts in Cicero?  Isn't that what built their New Town Hall and Community Center?
