Title: Meijer Foods in Berwyn - Poor Inventory Management
Post by: frankvdv on September 28, 2014, 07:36:34 AM
I have even contacted Corp to complain, but inventory issues remain. This store has to know by  now what items sell out quickly each week, and keep a better in store quantity. But to no avail. I have heard others in store complain also. Will Meijer lose out in the long run again to Jewel-Osco?

I've been in there a dozen times since it has opened.  It's always like a ghost town when I'm there.  I go down aisles with nobody in them.  It's surprising to hear their shelves are empty.  It's a nice bright big store.  Each time I'm in there, I'm surprised that it isn't busy.   I go over to Tony's and it's always crowded.  I like Tony's, and I'm looking forward to their opening in Countryside next month.

I have noticed that the milk in the case is always close to out of date. Again, a sign of poor inventory management.

Or just poor management in general!
