Concordia Little Lambs Preschool and Kindergarten Information

Concordia Little Lambs Preschool provides a Christian atmosphere for the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of children ages 3-5.  Preschoolers are encouraged to learn by discovery in "hands-on" activities in order to gain confidence and a positive self image.


Who May Enroll?
Children who are potty-trained and ages 3 or 4 by September 1, 2007.  Concordia Little Lambs Preschool admits students of any race, color, or national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

When Do Classes Meet?
Classes meet from September through May.  Four year olds meet on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 - 11:45 and 12:45 to 3:30 pm.
Three year olds meet on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 - 11:30 a.m.

Where Do Classes Meet?
Classes meet in the preschool classroom in Concordia Lutheran Church on 32nd and Home Avenue in Berwyn, 1 block north of the Metra tracks on Home.

Class Limit
M-T-W  20 Children with a teacher with a Master's degree in Early Childhood development and 1-2 teacher's assistant.
Th-Fri  17 Children with a teacher with a Master's degree in Early Childhood development and two teacher's assistants

Cost
There is a nonrefundable registration fee of $50.  Tuition is paid in 9 monthly installments of $145/month for the three day program; $120/month for the two day program. Financial assistance is available.

Concordia Little Lambs Kindergarten provides a Christian atmosphere for the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of children age 5. Children are encouraged to learn by discovery in "hands-on" activities in order to gain confidence and a positive self image.  They will be taught literacy and math skills, as well as learning about the world around them.  Concordia Little Lambs Kindergarten is licensed by the Illinois Dept. of Child and Family Services.

When Do Classes Meet?
Classes Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., generally following the calendar of South Berwyn District 100.  Children may also enroll in the half-day program which meets from 9 - 11:45.

18 children with a certified teacher with a Master's Degree in Education

Cost
There is a nonrefundable registration fee of $100.  Tuition is paid in 10 monthly installments of $420/month.  This monthly fee also includes a healthy snack and a hot, catered lunch.  Payment for the half day program is $283/month and includes a healthy snack.  Financial assistance is available   An extended care and enrichment program is offered from 2:30 -6:00 pm, Monday through Friday for a charge of $10/day or $45/week.  An earlier program(7:30-8:45 am) will be available if needed.
