There will be some interesting hearings by the zoning board on June 16.
First, there are two requests to put up parking lots behind Turno's bakery. The proposals are to put up cul-del-sacs and build parking lots at 1213 East Avenue and at 1212 Scoville Avenue.
The zoning board will also hear proposals to tear down a house and build a parking lot at 3633 Wisconsin.
I guess Joni Mitchell was right - we are tearing down paradise to put up parking lots.
In addition, the zoning board will hear a proposal to put up a micro brewery at 6833 Stanley by Flapjack Brewery.
