I would like recommendations on refinishing hardwood floors. I don't intend to tackle the job myself, so would like to know of reliable people who have done a good, yet reasonably priced, job. Any ideas out there?

we had our first floor redone - about 1200 sf and the guy charged us $1200 (I think) for the whole bit. Did a great job.

I don't know if they still do it but it's Stanley and the number is 773.428.6248

I used Schmal Flooring Company - 773-907-3234. My friend also had him do his floors in Oak Park, both jobs turned out very good and priced very well. In addition to the sanding/refinishing, they also fixed a few holes and gaps.
