Does anyone else find it odd that there actually COULD be an 8th vehicle in one household?

That's a lot of peeps!

Our next door neighbors park 6 vehicles on the street and 2 in the garage. Single family home with 4 families in the house.

Well we are one of the fastest growing areas according to that other thread. City may as well get some extra cash.

Doubt all names of extra families/persons are on the deeds...or the tax bill.

Take advantage of the off street parking sticker, Early Bird purchase discount and the discount for buying on line. Your vehicle sticker will cost you $25.00. Such a deal!

What is the off street parking sticker?  When does it have to be purchased by?   I never park on the street so it sounds like something that I could buy.

Vehicle stickers are a scam.  The rest of the world doesn't operate that way.  My friends in Texas laugh at the idea of paying a local tax to display a decal in your windshield.  Give until it hurts.  It's amazing how much money you could save if you ventured outside of the toilet of Illinois.

We finally got on late last night and can't renew online anyway. There is no option for garage parking, there is a fee to renew online (even tho they said there wasn't) and they don't take Visa. What a joke. We will just go to the police station and be done with it

Agreed, Justme, to what you said - same for us.  I think the city WANTS a repeat of last year when hundreds of people were lined up on every floor on the steps inside City Hall.  That's what the Yahoos who run the town understand.  Technology and customer service - NO.

Sent them a check on Tuesday. Received stickers and visitor pass in the mail yesterday. Not too bad if you ask me.

Seriously, we are attacking my screen name again. I just wanted to know why I didn't get a visitors pass with my city sticker. Guess I can't get help in this forum because we want to be immature and say " only cubs fans get visitors passes."

In the past I have requested the number of overnight stickers sold? Are the police  ticketing for violations? Streets to start would be 1200 highland to 1600 include Cuyler and Harvey.

They are definitely ticketing.  There have been complaints on Facebook for the ticket patrol being out at 3 AM giving tickets in Vacin Parkway  (in the parking lot area just north of Cermak).  Some people who live near Vacin Parkway tried parking their cars there overnight because there are not enough street parking and they received tickets.

Most must be parking in North Berwyn north of sixteenth never see anyone ticketing same cars always parked overnight.

Interesting went to N. Berwyn last week 80% of the cars that were parked at night are gone! Unbelievable there was a space by my mothers home!

This weekend is a holiday called "Thanksgiving." It's a time when many families gather together, often traveling from out of town, via car, to do so.

Were the cars parked overnight?  Or during the day?  If parked overnight, did they have passes?

FYI, parking during the day on Berwyn streets (except for certain zones like MacNeil) is not against the law.

These cars are parked overnight, no passes! some with regular stickers. After ticketing street will be clear for a week or two then cars will be back again. I have noticed this happing on most Berwyn streets Hoildays are no exception. I guess no one wants to pay the guest pass fee!
