Title: Where to buy old fashion shades
Post by: Toria on July 19, 2014, 10:00:45 AM
Does anyone know where to buy old fashion shades that you would get cut that are on a roller?  Not the fancy expensive kind like levolor or bali but the old style ones that people used to put in before all the fancy ones became popular.  Thanks.

I've bought them online from JC Penney and been pleased.  You just put in the measurement of the window and they cut them and ship them.  I've bought just the plain ones and also the somewhat fancy ones with the scalloped laced ends.  I've found great window treatments from JC Penney on clearance.  $60.00 valances marked down to $10 that I have in my living room and dining room.  Roman shades in my kitchen that were a steal.  If you have the time to keep on looking and be patient you will come across some great deals.  The roller shades are pretty reasonable even without a sale.

Thanks.  I actually have bought many curtains from Pennys.  Just bought some cafĂ© curtains for the kitchens in my two flat.  They have nice stuff and good sales.
