I had just read that Illinois has 500,000 homes twenty five percent or more underwater,meaning their value is lower then their existing mortgages. I would like figures on Berwyn if possible!

Where did you read that? Please provide a link. CoreLogic data says that about 12 percent of Chicago-area homes are underwater, and that the rate is closer to 10 percent statewide.
Zillow has data on Berwyn that you can look up.
