Must be that time of year again.  I am into reading.  I just finished The Warmth Of Other Suns,
and highly recommend it.  Great reading, and gives one a real feeling of how it really was during
what they call "The Great Migration".
Written by Isabel Wilkerson, winner of the Pulitzer Prize.

Patsy, I saw the author interviewed about that book on Chicago Tonight a week or so ago.  Looks very interesting.  Do they cover Chicago much?  I LOVE Chicago history and have been concentrating on the Bronzeville neighborhood lately which was one of the first places of black migration in Chicago and the center of the "black belt."

I am reading George W. Bush's new book Decision Points right now which I am enjoying very much so far.
Unfortunately, this ain't your grandmother's Berwyn anymore.

You would love this book BG.  It specifically follows 3 separate migrations, and one
was to Chicago.  Bronzeville, South Shore, and of course Cicero are all part of their story.
Did you ever read a book, that you hate to finish because it will end??  The warmth of
other suns is one of those books!
