Well Valentine's Day is upon us @ Tonini's Italian Market.

We have many wonderful Valentine's Day goodies to fill anyone's sweet tooth.

We have our Heart Shaped Sandwich Cookies with either raspberry filling or strawberry butter cream & our Heart Shaped Butter Cookies pre-packaged in Valentine's Day boxes & bags. You can find them at the deli counter & register for your convenience.

We also have Red Velvet Cupcakes, Chocolate Butter Cookies dipped in strawberry chocolate & sprinkles, Butter Cookies filled with strawberry cream, white sprinkles on pink butter cookies, white & pink sprinkles on chocolate butter cookies, red cherry butter cookies, heart shaped strawberry sugar cookies & Strawberry sandwich cookies dipped in milk chocolate.

URGENT INFORMATION Please pass on to everyone you know who is a customer of Tonini's!!!!! Due to winter coming & a need to balance operational costs we will be going to winter hours effective on November 7th. Our new hours will be Monday-Friday 11am-7pm, Saturday 9am-5pm & Sunday 9am-4pm. We will have extended hours the week of the Holiday to accommodate all our customer's needs & will make a post regarding those hours. We want to thank you all for your continued support!

We are looking to have a food drive at Tonini's to raise food for the local food pantries that are in need of contributions. We will be asking customers if they want to donate a non-perishable item when they come in to help local families in need.
If anyone knows of a family in need please send me a personal message & we will try to help as many families as we can. We know of a food pantry in Berwyn that works with the Greater Chicagoland Food Depository so we will be contacting them to drop off the donations. They serve families that live in Berwyn, Stickney, Forest View, Cicero, North Riverside, Riverside & Lyons. If anyone knows of any other food pantries that are in need of donations please let me know.
We have contacted several of our distributors to see if they want to make any contributions. We are very happy to say that Dell'Alpe/Rubinelli Inc. will be making a contribution to assist in our efforts.
We feel that we have been very blessed & will be making our own contributions as a family & a local business. Every year my family has went to the children's hospital & brought Christmas gifts dressed as Santa, Mrs. Claus & Elves to the kids.  The smiles my family received were life changing. With this in mind we are hoping to make a difference & give back to the community we serve.

We will be working with 4 different food pantries that serve the local communities. We would like to have all donations in by 12/20/11 so that we have time to distribute the food for the Holidays. Thanks in advance for all the help!
