Farewell Tura

Tura Satana passed away last Fri. from heart failure.  I got to meet her at Horrorbles a couple years back and she was one helluva character.  Very gracious & very funny.

Just saw her the other day on a VH1 special that Pamela Des Barres hosted about Groupies. The Tura angle was that she had dated Elvis and yes, she came across as a pretty interesting/cool chick.

On A LESSSER NOTE, they also featured 'Sweet' Connie talking about all of her conquests; she really got around. Even in her 60's (?) she's apparently still at it. She was talking about servicing one of the guys in Godsmack "recently".
