AARP TAX AIDE PROGRAM at Berwyn Park District

AARP Tax-Aide, an AARP Foundation program, helps low- to moderate-income taxpayers have more discretionary income for everyday essentials, such as food and housing, by assisting with tax services and ensuring they receive applicable tax credits and deductions.

AARP Tax-Aide is available free to taxpayers with low and moderate income, with special attention to those 60 and older. Through a cadre of trained volunteers, AARP Tax-Aide has helped low- to moderate-income individuals for more than 40 years in every state and the District of Columbia.

The park district has offered this free program for a number of years and helped process more than 250 tax returns in 2010.  If you are interested in taking advantae of this program please contact the Proksa Park Activity Center at 708-795-2892 to schedule an appointment.

Please dont wait as appointments are filled through March 9th.

Income tax time and hours at Proksa Park:


Monday        10:30am every half hour until 2pm

Tuesday         same as Monday

Wednesday   9:15am every half hour until 11:15a

Wednesday   2pm every half hour until 5pm

Thursday       12pm every half hour until 3pm
