BROCATO PLAYGROUND GRAND OPENING JUNE 11TH 
NORTH BERWYN PARK DISTRICT

BERWYN, IL –  North Berwyn Park District is pleased to announce and invite you to attend the Grand Opening Event for Brocato Playground, 19th & Cuyler, on Satruday, June 11 @ 9:30 am.

The new playground which was built in less than eight hours with the help of more than 200 North Berwyn Park District volunteers, Disney VoluntEARS, KaBOOM! organizers and local community residents will provide children in the Berwyn community with a safe place to play every day!  The new playground also includes a vegetable garden where children will have the opportunity to grow healthy food and get hands-on learning about nutrition.   

The North Berwyn Park District would like to thank the ALL the Community Volunteers, including Mayor Robert J. Lovero and the City of Berwyn, Senator Martin A. Sandoval, Berwyn Development Corporation, 5th Ward Alderman Cesar A. Santoy, North Berwyn Park District Board of Commissioners, Community Businesses, Disney, ABC7, and KaBOOM! for their hard work in planning and supporting the project from the beginning stages up through to Build Day. 

Planning for the playground began at a Design Day event held in April when local children were asked to design their dream playground.  Now, North Berwyn Park District invites the whole community to come out for the official opening of Brocato Playground and garden designed by children and built by the community of Berwyn!
