Berwyn playground officially open!

June 11, 2011 (BERWYN, Ill.) (WLS) -- A new playground built in just one day is now officially open.

Until last Saturday, Brocato Park in Berwyn didn't have modern playground equipment but time lapse video shows the new playground being constructed in just a few hours.

It was a joint project involving the North Berwyn Park District, a non-profit called KaBOOM! and Disney, the parent company of ABC7.

The park also includes a vegetable garden so children can learn about healthy eating.
