Roof Replacement Recommendations and Cost

The shingles on our garage are giving out and I need to start shopping for roofer.  Anyone have recommendations?  I use Angie's List too, but thought I'd see what y'all have to offer as well.  Also, any ballpark ideas of cost? Roofing is an area we have zero experience with...  Our bungalow has three dormers and it's a 2car garage.  THANKS

We just used Thomas Roofing out of Riverside.  It was around 7 Grand for the house (one dormer) and he said it would be about 1100 for the garage (which we didn't do).  They did a great job and were very responsive.  The owner was on site the entire time.

Very pleased with Besche Brothers that did ours about five years ago. Complete tear-off, replaced a few boards, architectural shingles, house and garage: $7k.

Thanks for your recommendation as well, sheldar.  I was thinking it might be $7-10K.
