Hello.
I have a few plants/shrubs in my yard that I can't quite identify.

Can anyone here recommend a reliable/knowledgeable garden center/nursery where I can take a few cuttings and have them identified?

Thanks!

How about that place on Pershing east of Harlem? Think it used to be called Capek's.

the Oak Park conservatory,on East av. & Garfield street, just south of the Eisenhower, has an excellent on staff Botanist; they are not there every day, so call ahead before going.

If you don't get the answers you need, go to the Morton Arboretum Plant Clinic. There is an admission fee, so plan to spend a half day exploring and enjoying nature. Kids can get a little wet in the Children's Garden.
