Heard a fun interview w/ JD McPherson on NPR over the weekend and Hot Damn!  I'm lookin forward to pickin' this record up.  He really captures the energy & sound of 40's/50's rhythm-n-blues/rock-n-roll.  So i did a lil' googling and found his site ... when the intro page loaded I giggled and said to myself, "I shoulda known."  There he is ... sittin' down w/ Jimmy Sutton.  He recorded (all analog) at Jimmy's studio in Chicago and Mr. Sutton plays on the record as well.

Scandalous (just a still photo to go along w/ the music) ... but it's a kickass tune.

I like it Scungilli! Sounds like he's channeling some Richard Penniman (minus the falsetto screams) with a hint of Fats Domino.

Also, Bob Welch (a great one) is gone.

The original "Sentimental Lady" when he was with Fleetwood Mac:

Fleetwood Mac - Sentimental Lady
"None of us have to settle for the best this administration offers: a dull, adventureless journey from one entitlement to the next, a government-planned life, a country where everything is free but us." - Paul Ryan

LOL

They were on Conan Wednesday night and they were awesome! Good to see some Chicago guys on national TV !
The word gullible isn't in the dictionary?

Love that song - getting lots of airplay on XRT.
