MAC vs Big East
« on: October 27, 2012, 09:43:16 PM »
So, let me get this straight.  The MAC has  won 4 games against the Big East this year.  Cinncinatti, Rutgers, South Florida and UConn all have lost to MAC teams this year.

In addition, two teams that used to be in the MAC (Temple and Central Florida) are in or will be in the Big East next year and neither did very well when they were in the MAC.

Yet, teams like Rutgers, Louisville, UConn, South Florida, Cinnicinatti and Temple all are a possibility to get an automatic bid to a 14 million dollar bowl game just because they're members of the Big East while MAC teams do not.

I think that just shows what a farce the current BCS automatic bid process is.  Toledo, NIU, Kent State, Ohio, Miami of Ohio and Bowling Green are just as good as any team in the Big East.
