The Berwyn Park District has a little bit of something for everyone this winter. Check out what's happening this month:



Total Body Workout
Join us a twice a week for an upbeat, Total Body Workout. This class meets Mondays (7:00 – 8:00pm) and Wednesdays (8:30 – 9:30pm) at Proksa Park, 3001 S. Wisconsin Ave, Berwyn, IL. 60402.  Total Body Workout is designed for the person who does not have a lot of time and wants to get their workout done all at once.



Class begins Wednesday, February 6 at 8:30pm. Stop by Proksa Park to sign up; an eight week session cost $72 for a Berwyn Resident and $80 for a Non-Resident.



Beginning Sewing
Get that sewing machine out of the closet! You'll learn all the basics of your sewing machine while you sew an easy apron. This class meets on Tuesdays from 6:30 – 8:30pm at Proksa Park, 3001 S. Wisconsin Ave, Berwyn, IL. 60402.

Students will bring their won machine, basic sewing tools and materials for the project.



Class begins Tuesday, February 5 at 6:30pm. Stop by Proksa Park to sign up; this two week session cost $35 for a Berwyn Resident or Non-Resident. A material list will be provided at registration.



Nia
Not a fan of most fitness classes? Come try Nia, a unique form of fusion fitness that blends the dance arts, martial arts and the healing arts to create a joyful, dynamic fitness practice that transforms how people experience their body and movement. Class meets on Saturday mornings, 10:45 – 11:45am at Proksa Park, 3001 S. Wisconsin Ave., Berwyn, IL. 60402.



Class begins Saturday, February 16 at 10:45am. Stop by Proksa Park to sign up: a six week session costs $60 for a Berwyn Resident and $66 for a Non-Resident. Come de-stress, burn calories and leave energized and calm!



Basic Computer & Internet Skills
Learn how to use a computer! This hands-on beginner class is designed for those with little or no experience with computers. Class meet on Mondays at 6:30 – 8:30pm, at St. Leonard School, 3322 Clarence, Ave., Berwyn, IL. 60402.



Class begins Monday, February 18 at 6:30pm. Stop by Proksa Park to sign up; a six week session cost $85 for a Berwyn Resident and $93 for a Non-Resident. An overview of the class can be seen on the Berwyn Park District Website: www.berwynparks.org.



PinochleStop in every Wednesday at the Liberty Cultural Center, 6445 W. 27th Place, Berwyn, IL. 60402, for some cards and coffee.  Fee is $2 to cover coffee and pastry.
