Today and tomorrow, the Cook County Clerk's office will be performing a recount in the Berwyn City Clerk race and in the Berwyn Township Trustee race.  Since early voting has already started, I am not sure what happen if a recount overturns who the candidates are on the ballot.  Here are the links to the city clerk site:

Ted,

Any news on the recount?

Do Berwyn have a "new" city clerk? Trustee?

I could not find anything on the Cook County Clerk site about the results of the recount.  I doubt that the city clerk results will be overturned.  Marge Paul's lead was over 1%.  Trustee is different because that race is very close.

Barbara Bossany stated on Facebook on Monday that she called the clerk's office and the clerk's office told her she and Marge Paul are still on the ballot. Given that we are 10 days into early voting, I don't think the recount changed things.

The Berwyn United organization will have 3 of the 4 trustee seats.  If Erika Rosado wins the write in campaign, Berwyn United will have 5 of the city council seats.  If Alicia Ruiz wins, then the city council will be split 4 to 4.

For which seat?  6th ward alderman?
