Loyola purchaes MacNeil

  The Loyola hospital network is purchasing MacNeil hospital in Berwyn.

One comment Facebook I found interesting is that Loyola will not tie a woman's reproductive tubes because it is a Catholic hospital.

  Another comment on Facebook stated that Loyola will not prescribe birth control (although I assume a person's doctor would/could).

I'm also concerned about the loss of tax revenue since they are non-profit

There are plenty of hospitals and facilities that WILL do tubal ligations.  I don't think we should force a hospital that is endowed and supported by the Catholic Church to do this.  We live in a country where people have free will - and can go to other hospitals or facilities that do not have religious affiliations.
