Air Purifiers ?

I was at Bed Bath and Beyond today.  They have a VORTEX unit for $179.95 that I considered buying until I saw the replacement filter is $25.00 !  Too pricey, especially since they recommend changing 3x a year.
Got any suggestions for a 12 x 18 ft. bedroom ?  Thanks.

I got a Honeywell HEPA, works well.  Filters are about $120 and changed every 3-4 years.  Pre-filters are like $15 for 3-pack and get changed every 3 months.

It's lasted me 10 years and works like a charm.  The newer model make very little sound.

I forgot the price but try Allergy Supply.
