I know this isn't a new book by any means but I just finished reading it and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Interesting idea of time travel!

The added bonus is that it mostly takes place in Chicago (with a little bit of South Haven, Michigan thrown in).

I recommend it; and you don't have to buy new.  Lots of used copies at half.com and amazon.com (that's where I get most of my reading materials).
