Ok, a friend of mine was nice to email me to let me know that the music store I spoke of on Cermak was Balkan Music.  There also was a Frank Kral Records on 58th & Cermak.

Is Sportsman Lounge still on Roosevelt?

Holy shit, apat.  My Dad was remeniscing about that place!  No, it's now a realty office or something, between the pawn shop and landromat.  I recall him talking about that being the joint they went to when they graduated high school or something...the big deal was either the served under age or stay open real late...will have to clarify.  He said they started going down came when they added the extension on to the back, and tried to make it more a pub/food kinda joint.  Nowadays that'd probably be preferable, but...

Ida's Florist---Gone, I think it is now a beauty shop.  Remember the store right across
the street, we used to call it the Dragget (?) store.  It had wooden floors, and was a smaller version
of a Troy Dept. store?  My mother would be her "feather thicks" there, or Pszenia (?).

Falcon Hall was on the corner, the entrance was kinda in the middle on 49th Ave.
I think there was a bank across from it also.
Cicero in the day, had either a bank or Gin Mill on every corner.
Remember Hjnotskis (?)  Hardware store on 29th street ?
