Dark/Spiced works best.  However, if all you have is light/crap, just add more spice, by the second mug, you won't be able to tell a difference :-)

Made Hot Buttered Rum tonight thanks to the suggestion on this thread. Gotta say its pretty good. Serving it at OoT actually. Had a couple, feeling kinda Johnny Deppish...........
