The Berwyn Park District proudly sponsors the Proksa Park Garden Club and their activities and efforts to encourage gardening in the community.

PROKSA PARK GARDEN CLUB

COMING EVENTS

Saturday, March 21, 11:00 am

Pruning lecture and demonstration by Beth Botts, Chicago Tribune Garden writer for the Chicago Tribune, Pruning lecture and demonstration, Proksa Park Activity Center, 3001 Wisconsin, This is a Free educational event.

There will be a special emphasis on yews, hydrangea, lilac and forsythia.

Bring your tools if you like.


Gardening in the Park begins in April and continues each week until October.

Saturdays, Starting April 4, 9 am till noon

Wednesdays. Starting  April 8, 6 pm

For the above events, we meet at the Kids Garden at the Northeast corner of Proksa Park (29th Place and Home Avenue)

Promoting gardening with kids in the park and in schools.
Monday, April 20, 6:30 pm Proksa Park Activity Center
Anna Viertel, Coordinator of School Gardens, Chicago Botanic Garden will present this free program.
