An interim police chief is going to be sworn on the 10th (I believe). He's a 30 year vet who has worked with other police departments in the same capacity. For the swearing in of the new admin and the first council meeting  on the 10th, 26th st. will be closed off from Oak Park to East so all that wish to attend will be able to attend without trying to squash into city hall. The Berwyn Bank building might be seeing a facelift with a well known restaurant moving in. Some news about Marzullo. A rundown of upcoming  Depot District events. Then I had to leave the room. The guy sitting next to me smelled like he had spent the previous 8 hours chain smoking inside of a sealed box. Literally.

Basically, it was the feeling that Berwyn has been returned to the people after all these years. A sense of sincerity from Mike O'Connor that he really does mean what he says about changing this town for the better.

Oh yeah, the first cop on the scene at the Golden Steer on election night...

His name is O'Connor.

Think of how stupid the average person is and realize half of them are stupider than that.
