Chicago Proposal: Suspended Motorists Could have Cars Impounded

This would be a great addition to our books - reading the blotter every week - how many unlicensed drivers on our streets...  add these impounds to the noise ordinance impounds.  would be an additional revenue stream too.

Drivers caught behind the wheel with a suspended or revoked license would have their cars impounded under a proposed ordinance the City Council's Police and Fire Committee approved today.
