Any of the Terry Pratchett Discworld books are awesome. His sataire and prose is utterly hillairious. I would definitely start with "The Light Fantastic". They say that there is no real order to the books but I think it's more of a you can read out of order and it doesn't matter mentality (whicj you really can) But I found that reading them in order of publish date really does put a more comprehensive spin on things.. Oh and quick heads up, the list of order is backwards wherever it's printed.
