Well this Thursday evening Mr Education himself governor Quinn will be speaking at The Skylight West Banquet Hall on Ogden in Berwyn! I heard he will speak between 6:00 and 6:30. I wonder if he will be able to look everyone in their eyes and tell them how cutting 17% of school funding will help their kids.

Everyone in the community: Parents, Students, Teachers, School Officials should picket the Gov. We are all Illinois Tax Payers and we have the right to peacefully assemble.

We may have to do in the side walk because Skylight may not want us in their property.
I'm in favor of dumping Quinn and bringing in some libertarian republican to clean house.

Were you there Big Al? You should have introduced yourself!
Big A was too busy schmoozing his bosses in District 201. He's been a real busy body the last couple of weeks... <LOL> Mark, that was great... Ted

Java,
Can't say that I was at the event. Ted is partly correct, I have been busy. The commercial and industrial painting industry is quite different from the automotive supply business. In my previous sales position, once landed an account it was all about schmoozing to keep the customer happy so they would order...they needed the parts and relationships kept them buying from me. My new position is quite different.
Hey Ted, Do you know when you paint a Walmart? At night, when the store is closed and all of the customers are gone.
I did see it on the news briefly last night (Tivo), and there was a blurb on ABC's website.

Hey Big A, I heard something about you from a teacher a couple of weeks ago. She told me that a lot of your posts are cut-and-paste jobs from presentations by Anthony Grazzini. Is that true, Big A? Have you been cutting and pasting stuff out of Anthony Grazzini's presentations? And, how was a paint salesman able to get electronic copies of Anthony Grazzini's presentations in the first place? Shame on you, Big A. Double shame on you. If you're going to copy and paste stuff out of someone's presentations, you should at least credit that person in your post. btw, Big A, I am still waiting for you to identify the Oak Park educator who stated that the AP students in Morton were doing better than other districts and the statistics to back it up. Ted,
You are brilliant! Yes...I have posted on the Berwyn Talk forum; I also post on my flag football blog, and occasionally on e-bay too! I receive information from various sources, Tony as well as other friends in district 201, (Teachers, maintenance, teacher aids, administrative assistants, and administrators), it is amazing how many good people I know who went to Morton East or Morton West chose to come back and work for the district. I like, Mustang54 would agree that some take advantage of the system, but most are better than the “to 3:30’s” that take my tax dollars and run home to their "nice suburbs" while the rest of us “in our own way try to make this community a little better.
Here is the odd thing, I am in my late 30’s, single, with no children, and yet I continue to advocate for the schools here even though it is HIGHLY unlikely that I will have children that attend any of them. I have faith that leadership provided by the Board of Education will improve things. I have faith in Bobby (Mayor and DCOB member) Lovero and his administration.
By the way, I have always maintained that information that I posted came from various district 201 employees, as well as articles and books that I have read. if you remember I offered you the information. I didn't realize that I need to cite blog posts. Since you are the cut and paste king maybe you could provide me with the proper etiquette.
Yes...I know Tony quite well. As well as his family members on Elmwood, in Chicago, Elmhurst, Cicero, Las Vegas, Minooka, Homer Township, Lyons (I think you get the point). My statement about the Tyke taking Quinn to task established that...don’t you think. I don’t know what you are saying about people being jealous of him; the people I know speak highly of him. We are also friends so that could have some impact, but I am sure someone out their thinks highly of you too! LMFAO
Let me know if your IVB gods need any painting or lead abatement done on their investment property. My company will make sure that they meet all federal requirements to continue to be eligible to attract HUD vouchers as they continue the gentrification of North Berwyn that they started.
I will take the Democratic Citizens of Berwyn, and Most of the District 201 Board of Education over your IVB mess any day. Remember it is you the IVB that put the honorable Dr. Mrs. Kelly back on the board (that one still has to hurt).

Actually, it was the voters that put her back on.
I still don't understand how she got endorsed. It made ZERO sense to me.

Last I heard Grazzini was going to be Principal at West. Then they said he was going to be Athletic Director. I now hear he is going to be Superintendent.
I know from a very good source that all of these rumors begin in the P.E./Drivers Ed department at Morton West. Seems to be a credible source....I wonder who is starting the rumors and what that person has go gain.... btw, Big A, one more thing. Why is it that the D201 administration puts the kabosh on some teachers when they post on BTF but they don't do anything to other teachers and administrators who post on BTF and say favorable things? Why do only the critics get hammered? Ted

"By the way, I have always maintained that information that I posted came from various district 201 employees, as well as articles and books that I have read." You usually write it as if you're the author. When not, you state " I heard... from 201 friends... (while under their tables)..." "My company will make sure that they meet all federal requirements to continue to be eligible to attract HUD vouchers as they continue the gentrification of North Berwyn that they started." bi GAL you are a fucking racist dipshit. North Berwyn was fucked long before the IVB came to power. "Yes...I know Tony quite well. As well as his family members on Elmwood, in Chicago, Elmhurst, Cicero, Las Vegas, Minooka, Homer Township, Lyons (I think you get the point)." Yes, we get the point. Another person you'd like to have down your throat. He doesn't want you. "Here is the odd thing, I am in my late 30’s, single, with no children, and yet I continue to advocate for the schools here even though it is HIGHLY unlikely that I will have children that attend any of them." That's not odd. You can't get pregnant via oral sex.
