Just an aside, back in the day, John Prine performed on a regular basis at Sportsman Lounge on Roosevelt, and the place was always packed when he was there.

See John Prine on Letterman this Wednesday night. Also, his new live album "In Person and On Stage" streets tomorrow.

We were there and it was a great show.  What a terrific storyteller/songwriter.  Funny, smart and very nostalgic of his growing up years in Maywood and the years he spent as a mailman in the area.
