Oh man ... July 31st @ Quenchers is gonna be one helluva night!  The Polkaholics performing Wally (their tribute to Chicago's Polka King - Lil' Wally) and Dandy Don saluting Johnny Thunders!  From Extreme Polka:

"What would have happened if the KING of dirty rock guitar and the KING of polka had met? Well come to Quencher's on July 31st and experience for yourself how this meeting may have went down when DTKLAMF- a Johnny Thunders tribute band- and The PolkaholicsĀ® play together for the first time! Saturday July 31st, 9pm, 2401 N. Western Ave, Quencher's Saloon. Only $5!!"

Your not gonna believe this but---------------"Lil Wally" played at my Christening
party many years ago.  The party was held at a corner Tavern on California and Cortez
Streets in Chicago.  He was just starting to break into the Polka world of music!  I always
remembered my dad telling who ever would listen that he knew 'Lil Wally".  Lol!!

@ Patsy .... No Way!  That's cool.  My introduction to Lil' Wally was through The Polkaholics several years ago.  They've always mentioned him live & in a few songs.  The Polka-Opera is a more recent adventure and they actually played w/ Lil' Wally shortly before he passed away.

Here's the trailer for the documentary "Polkaholics" by Wes Hranchak:

Too funny!  Thanks, I really enjoyed that little clip.  Now, I'll have to look through
my parents old 78 record albums, I bet there is a "Lil Wally in that pile!  lol.
