Youtube and Adobe Flash 10.1

No matter what I do I can't get the flash to stick on my Vista 64 bit.

I download it, use it at youtube just fine, then at some point it drops off the map, and when I got to youtube, it's not recognizing that I have it, and directs me to download it.  I don't get it.

Try to completely uninstall it from add/remove programs.  After that, shut the PC down and leave it off for a minute.  Turn it back on, go to www.adobe.com and download Flash again.  Try and see what happens after that.
